WELCOME TO CALL-TO-ARMS! A webcomic in the world of MMORPGs.

WHAT IS CALL-TO-ARMS?!

Call-To-Arms is a webcomic, written by three people, inspired by the millions of players in the MMORPG universes. Call-To-Arms is a comic chronicling the adventures of a rather dysfunctional guild in a miscellaneous MMORPG, and their struggles to just keep each other alive.

One of the super cool things about Call-To-Arms is, just like in a real MMORPG, other people's characters can join the guild and their horrible attempts to complete quests, slay ledgendary monsters, or just buy some potions in town.

That's right! You can join the Call-To-Arms crew, and have your MMORPG self in the comic!

RULES OF SUBMITTING CHARACTERS!

While we encourage people to heed the Call-To-Arms, there are a few rules that there are to character submission, as well as a few things to keep in mind.

1. WHAT WILL BE ACCEPTED: Pretty much anything original. We'll take an RPG version of yourself, a character you've made, or whatever else you can think of. We will NOT, however, take fancharacters, or pre-existing characters. FOR EXAMPLE, if you wanted to use your totally badass Chaos Fancharacter, or your hysterical Fan Irken, we would NOT accept it. But, say you turned yourself into, oh, I dunno... an Undead Necromancer that likes to tell people to shut up, or an astronaught that thinks he's black, THEN we'd accept it.

NOTE: Even though the comic takes place in a streotypical fantasy enviornment, It's totally cool with us if you want to make up or combine character classes, or use something from the future if you want to. It's your character.


2. HOW TO SUBMIT CHARACTERS: In order to get a character in Call-To-Arms, we need a few things from you so that we can get the character right in the comic.
I: Character name, or more accuratley, Screenname. Ex: Lord_Slappy, NEGRONAUT.
II: Character class. What the character does in the RPG world. Ex: Mage, Knight, Nigga in Space, etc.
III: Character Race. What the character... is... Ex: Human, Orc, Undead, Lizardman, etc.
IV: Personality Traits/Quirks. Things about the character that you want us to get in the comic. Ex: Healer who only heals himself, A klutz who thinks he's the coolest thing around, A mage who's backfiring spells endanger the group, stuff like that.
V: Picture of the character. Something that lets us know what the character looks like, what weapons it uses, etc. (If you don't want to draw your own character, or just don't have the time, then the staff will design one for you based on your descriptions, and get it approved with you. But it's a lot easier if you'd do em for us.)

3. SEEING YOUR CHARACTER IN CALL-TO-ARMS: Since we're going to be having a LOT of characters in Call-To-Arms, we're not going to be able to use all of them in each page. (probably about 2-5 per page.) BUT, we'll try our hardest to make sure each character gets equal time in the comic. If, for whatever reason, multiple pages pass by without your character in it, just let us know, and we'll tell you our plans, and see where we can work them in. But PLEASE, don't note us after EVERY PAGE that doesn't have your character in it. That'll just annoy us.


GET INVOLVED, DAMMIT!

Now, no one knows your characters more than you. (excluding mind readers. But none of the staffers are mind readers. At least I don't THINK so...) That's just common sense. SO, in order to help us get it right, and help you guys get more involved in the comic, we're totally open to comic ideas for Call-To-Arms. Being a gamer myself, I know a lot of weird stuff happens in games with people in em, and it's impossible to see all the weird stuff alone. So, if you got something you'd like to see in Call-To-Arms, then let us know what you're thinking! What you want to see, what characters you want to see in it, all that stuff. We value the imput of our readers! SO IMPUT!
